Here I go again.....

Okay, so I think I am going to start writing in my journal again. I know I have only ever put in one entry but I think I want to start updating every so often.

So, for my first official entry. What to talk about......

Halloween. Went good. Landon was a very sleepy boy and went to bed at like 7 so Scott took Nathan trick or treating in the neighborhood. This is our first Halloween in the new neighborhood and I was expecting lots of trick or treaters. I lit candles and put on my comfy clothes. Turned on Jeepers Creepers to get myself in the Haloween spirit. And I waited. And waited. 2 kids came to the door. That is it. So now I have a shitload of candy that I bought and Nathan brought home a bunch. Candy is everywhere. Oh well, it will get eaten sometime or another.

Weekend. I am trying to think of something important we have to do this weekend besides the usual weekend cleaning and laundry and I am drawing a blank.

Work. Its work. Nothing new or exciting there.

Family.

Nathan is doing so good in school. He had strep throat last week so he missed a few days but other than that, he is awesome. Lost two teeth this past weekend so he looks so cute with all his spaces. I can't believe he is already about to be 8 years old. Time flies.

Landon is also doing very well. He is already up to 16 pounds at 3 months. He is a big boy. He knows the difference between day and night so that is a very good thing. Right now he is in that cute stage where he laughs out loud and smiles and coos. Love it. I do really miss spending time with him when I am at work.

Scott is a wonderful father. I have to admit I was worried at first. He had NEVER been around a newborn or even a toddler but he is adapting wonderfully. He changes diapers of all kinds and even got up at 4 this morning and told me to go back to bed. Now, that was a first but it still meant a lot to me.

On a different note, I had commented on Jayme's journal about how pregnant sex is awesome. Well, here lately I have been going through a no sex drive phase which would be the opposite from when I was pregnant. Guess I am just exhausted from having to get up 2-5 times with Landon a night and then getting up for work in the morning.

Okay, I guess that is really all I have to say right now. I will update again tomorrow and the next day and the next until it becomes a habit. I will make this journal work.
